Welcome back.

Today's lie: "I need motivation."

Lie #4: I need motivation

This one is sneaky.

Because it sounds true.

It sounds like the reason you haven't started writing is that you just haven't found enough discipline, willpower, or inspiration yet.

But what if motivation isn't actually the thing you're missing?

The truth is:

You don't need motivation. You need self-trust.

In today's audio, I talk about why so many aspiring writers get stuck in a cycle of starting, stopping, and disappointing themselves.

And why that disappointment quietly becomes the real obstacle.

Because when we don't trust ourselves to follow through, we often avoid starting altogether.

Not because we don't care.

But because we care so much.

One question I want you to think about while you listen:

What's the smallest writing goal you could set that you'd actually keep?

You don't build self-trust by making bigger promises to yourself. You build it by keeping smaller ones.
